Location
Shishila is a small village in Belthangadi taluk of Dakshina Kannada District, Karnataka.
village is famous for its ancient temple dedicated to Shishileshvar. Its very near to Dharmasthala. Shishila is 68 km east of Belthangady .
Climb is through dense forests this is what a real trekker needs. This is one of the most difficult trek i have gone after Kumara Parvatha.

Tips
There is a stream before the climb starts near Shishila and 1 km before the top, Dont ever never forget to carry water!!.
Take some warm clothes as it cud get cold in the midnight.
If you are not professional trekker better take a guide, i dont have contact of any of them but u can find one easily. Without a guide u cud get missed in Thick Forest.
